Excellent location and rooms are very spacious for a boutique B&B in San Francisco. It’s a short walking distance from major attractions like Union Square and Chinatown, and it has excellent dining and bars at its doorstep. Especially at this time, it’s safe with staff keeping a good eye on who is coming in and out. The staff themselves are absolutely lovely and accommodating without being intrusive, and they made the stay even better. Fresh water and tea, coffee, and hot chocolate being readily available both in the room and the lounge was extremely appreciated! Be aware that the building is older and has some character. I do not mind this, but I can see some finding the stairs to be very steep and a few spaces in the bathroom narrow.

Such a beautiful hotel!! The prettiest place I ever stayed. Came here for our anniversary and they even left us a little card on the bed wishing us a good time. They gave us the corner room and it was absolutely incredible. Three windows open with the billowy curtains. Fireplace was so lovely. A+++ I am telling all my friends about this place.

All good! Snacks around 5:30PM is a nice touch. Cosy rooms and great old fashioned elevator. Tip: do spend your money on parking in a garage (either valet or self park, anywhere between $40 and $65) as our car was vandalized over night while parked (for free) on the street. The hotel staff DID warn us about that possibility - and they were very right. The street itself is totally fine, it is just San Francisco these nights...

Lovely breakfast, beautiful room and lovely staff. A special thank to the waiter, he's a really kind and nice person who brought us wine when we went back from a long day at San Francisco. Thank you so much! We came by with our rental car. But didn't need it, everything was close at the hotel. If you arrive from the airport, choose BART/metroline. It's a short walk from the station to the hotel.

Excellent hotel in a good location of San Francisco, great size of room for the city centre, some of the rooms on offer in the city are like a shoebox, our room at White Swan had a separate area for seating, the gas fire in the room and the small fan heater were welcome as it was quite cold in San Francisco during our stay, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, boiled eggs, fruit, croissants, toast, cereal, coffee tea, fruit juice, plenty to set you up for a day walking around San Francisco, would definitely recommend staying here

This Inn in downtown SF is a true gem, a real find. My room on the 5th floor was large with a fireplace, 2 desks and a 4-poster bed. It had a small coffee nook with a sink & fridge. The room was at the back and quiet. Breakfast was superb. Coffee was great. Wifi worked very well. The inn has central heating and the room was warm without being overheated. The location is superb; you can walk to everything in downtown SF. I was greeted by Cody at the front desk who went out of his way to make sure I knew everything about the hotel. I will be back!

I Liked that the building was vintage and sirr of retro feel. Everything about this building style and class made me feel like a movie star!! I loved the location and how it was so close to downtown. The Pier was not that far either. Very close to the trolley and transportation. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful. Hard boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, oatmeal, etc.. The stay in the room was so quiet, inviting, home-like and comfortable.

A great attempt at making a hotel still seem like a hotel. Breakfast was great, the happy hour was fantastic, and the room and hotel decor was eclectic and entertaining. The location is fabulous but the hotel easily exceeded our expectations.

The whole stay was great, especially for the value. Loved everything! Comfortable, quiet room with a fireplace, continental breakfast in a lovely lounge area that had quite a variety including fresh pastries and coffee. Friendly staff! The maximalist British-themed vintage decor gives the whole place a unique, artsy charm. The location is safe and accessible with several good restaurants nearby.

The accommodation was central to everything. We were able to walk almost everywhere and there was a bus stop at the end of the block. The decor was as described. Breakfast was great with different pastries every day. The evening wine and cheese hour was a nice touch after a long day of sightseeing. Plenty of cozy areas and appreciated the selection of free water and sodas in the room's fridge.
